Hello! Happy Thursday! In December, I decided to pull my 4 year old out of her Pre-school program. Each week when I took her, it ended up being a fight to get her to stay. Ok, I totally LOVE this card. It is so simple and clean, or so I thought. When my club members made this card, it turned out that it wasn’t so simple. Stamping through the hearts was a challenge for some … making sure the heart punch didn’t punch off a corner (or try to find it in the mass of punched out stuff) was another challenge…. I have dealt with some major family issues over the past couple of years and I’ve felt at times like I was never going to get out of the hole that I seemed to be falling deeper into. So many things kept cropping up around me and one thing just compounded another but being the start of a new year, I thought it no better than to take stock of my life and where I want to be and how I want to live it. I always have put myself on the backburner and focused on my kids and family first as many Mums do. …or should we say ‘a piece of cupcake’! Today we bring you two very tasty birthday projects that will appeal to the taste buds in all of us, and who doesn’t like a sweet, tasty treat on their birthday?
I made a card that will certainly appeal to a girl of any age. It’s pink and flowery and it has something all girls like – cupcakes with pink fluffy icing. I created this greeting by first stamping the background notecard with our new Scallop Flourish and then I built on to the card with details like the circle greeting, pearl accents
