MOPS MILITARY SERVICE PROJECT and a Recipe for Once a Month Cooking…

2:00 am in Scrapbook Ideas by Traci

Hello! Happy Thursday! In December, I decided to pull my 4 year old out of her Pre-school program. Each week when I took her, it ended up being a fight to get her to stay. She wanted to come home with me and be with the other children and be “home-schooled” too…. This scrapbook project courtesy of Chrissy D

12:36 pm in Scrapbook Ideas by Traci

Happy Monday! Welcome to the “no longer 500 px wide” Sugarplum Blog. Whew. It’s the first step in a redesign that I’ve been wanting to get around to for about… oh… 6 months now?! Ha!

Anyway… it’s MONDAY!…

Stamp Club – Technique Project

8:00 pm in Scrapbook Ideas by Traci

Ok, I totally LOVE this card. It is so simple and clean, or so I thought. When my club members made this card, it turned out that it wasn’t so simple. Stamping through the hearts was a challenge for some … making sure the heart punch didn’t punch off a corner (or try to find it in the mass of punched out stuff) was another challenge…. I’m baaaaaaaaaack! Okay, well, this project is cute, but I’m not too sure about it. The gals in my stamp club loved it, for which I am thankful! I love the idea, though. I saw it on Splitcoast Stampers, posted by a gal named “lhs43″…. This scrapbook project courtesy of Renée

Let’s focus on YOU : Challenge

Hi, it’s Sharon (aka skyezak) here hosting this week’s Sugarplum Challenge!
I have dealt with some major family issues over the past couple of years and I’ve felt at times like I was never going to get out of the hole that I seemed to be falling deeper into. So many things kept cropping up around me and one thing just compounded another but being the start of a new year, I thought it no better than to take stock of my life and where I want to be and how I want to live it. I always have put myself on the backburner and focused on my kids and family first as many Mums do. I’ve certainly let my health deteriorate and social activities dwindle unless it involved chatting to

1:01 am in Scrapbook Ideas by Traci

It’s grab bag time again at the Digichick! The designers have all gotten together to each create a little something special this month. It’s a Grab Bag Extravaganza! (If you love grab bags, then the Digichick is the place for you this month!) Be sure to stop by and check them all out. They all rock!
Here is my new February Grab Bag:

I don’t want to give too much away, but let me just say that you’ll find some pretty papers, elements and a cute little alphabet packed away inside. You’ll find that these items will go with so many other

Birthday Projects… a piece of cake!

8:01 am in Scrapbook Ideas by Traci

…or should we say ‘a piece of cupcake’! Today we bring you two very tasty birthday projects that will appeal to the taste buds in all of us, and who doesn’t like a sweet, tasty treat on their birthday?
I made a card that will certainly appeal to a girl of any age. It’s pink and flowery and it has something all girls like – cupcakes with pink fluffy icing. I created this greeting by first stamping the background notecard with our new Scallop Flourish and then I built on to the card with details like the circle greeting, pearl accents

Creative Monday

Happy Creative Monday to you! Are you ready for a little scrapping inspiration?! I have some gorgeous stuff to show you today!
I’ve decided to do things a little differently today. Normally, I like to link up the creative team’s layouts to DST so that you can leave them some love in their galleries. Well, for the last three weeks, DST has been such a headache that I’ve decided I’m fed up and I’m just going to link you up to the Digichick’s gallery instead (and take some aspirin, too—LOL!).
So, let’s get to the beauty this week, shall we? First
